Case Study: Leviton Opens Immersive Experience Center in Nashville
Housed in a restored 1892 industrial building, Leviton LIVE Nashville blends historic character with interactive lighting, energy and networking technologies. March 12, 2026
In early 2025, Leviton opened Leviton LIVE Nashville, its third customer experience center, inside a restored 1892 industrial building on Nashville’s 2nd Avenue. The space blends the character of exposed brick, timber beams and music-inspired design with cutting-edge lighting, energy management and networking solutions, creating a one-of-a-kind, immersive destination for builders, architects, designers and contractors.
Leviton LIVE Nashville joins the company’s other centers in Chicago and Lake Nona, Florida. Each LIVE location is carefully designed to reflect its surrounding neighborhood and history, while providing a common purpose: to give customers an interactive space where they can explore Leviton’s solutions in real-world environments.
Challenge
As Leviton continues to expand into high-growth verticals like healthcare, data centers and multi-family living, it faces the challenge of demonstrating its increasingly complex product offerings. With virtual meetings and interactions on the rise, the company saw a growing need for additional space that could hold in-person collaboration and training, immersive conversations and real-time problem-solving for their customers across residential, commercial and industrial market sectors.
Solution
The Leviton LIVE Nashville experience center was created to bridge the gap between concept and application by providing an immersive, fully functional environment where every switch, dimmer, panel and network cable is presented as a working Leviton solution. Visitors can explore real-life settings, interact with innovative technology firsthand and see how they address real-world challenges. As visitors move through the space, Leviton has carefully curated a space designed to highlight solutions to meet specific use cases.
- Immersive Lighting Design: From precise beam angles in the boardroom to ambient tones in the executive lounge and kitchen, lighting scenes balance aesthetics with everyday function.
- Smart Building Integration: Residential, commercial and industrial solutions are woven into the fabric of the space, including Decora Smart dimmers, EV charging stations, structured cabling and load centers with real-time energy monitoring.
- Versatile Event + Training Space: The center features Leviton’s largest training room yet – a 40-seat classroom that can reconfigure into event or collaboration spaces, supporting hybrid education and hands-on immersive learning.
- Cultural Connection: Music-inspired décor pays tribute to Nashville’s artistic roots and nearby Printer’s Alley, connecting modern innovation with local history.
Why Nashville?
Nashville’s rapid growth as a hub for healthcare and technology campuses made it a natural fit for Leviton’s newest center. Located in the heart of downtown, Leviton is both honoring the city’s heritage and embedding itself in a region that’s shaping the future of innovation and attracting top talent. The experience center is also near Leviton’s Lebanon distribution center, solidifying the company’s investment in the area, while also giving partners access to the state-of-the-art facility. Leviton LIVE also supports the local professional community, by hosting organizations such as NECA Future Leaders Conference, local architectural events and serving as a training hub for the next generation of trade professionals.
