TORONTO — Armstrong Fluid Technology has introduced a new circulator featuring industry-leading Design Envelope technology. The new COMPASS circulator helps contractors and wholesalers with easy selection, fast installation and extremely broad performance capabilities for application to a wide variety of installations. The new COMPASS circulator also helps homeowners reduce energy consumption and operating costs. In “Auto” mode, (one of 8 operating modes available for selection) the COMPASS circulator adjusts operating speed to match HVAC demand at any given moment. Over time, the COMPASS circulator also learns a system’s patterns of demand and appropriately adjusts output to reduce energy usage even more. “The COMPASS was designed to create an energy-efficient residential pumping solution that offers added value for everyone involved in an upgrade or new installation,” said Lex van der Weerd, CEO of Armstrong Fluid Technology. “Contractors, wholesalers, and homeowners will all benefit from this technologically advanced circulator that is easy to select, install and operate.” COMPASS circulators are suited to applications requiring up to 20 USGPM and 20 feet of pressure.
