Free Training Videos: Avoid Critical Mistakes in Sampling Water for Legionella
Dec. 5, 2014 — Many organizations waste a lot of money on Legionella sampling — not because sampling can't be useful — but because of mistakes in planning, collecting samples, or interpreting the test results.
In a new four-video series called “How to Avoid Critical Mistakes in Sampling Water for Legionella,” Legionella expert Matt Freije outlines keys to avoiding such mistakes.
Each of the four training videos is about 10 minutes long. They can be viewed free of charge but are available only through Dec. 17. To view them, go to www.hcinfo.com.
Freije is president of HC Information Resources Inc., in Fallbrook, Calif. He is the author of the book Legionellae Control in Health Care Facilities: A Guide for Minimizing Risk and three Legionella management plans for hospitals, hotels, and nursing homes.
He is also the editor of Legionella Enews, an international newsletter that covers outbreaks and new technology. He conducts Legionella building assessments, serves as an expert in related litigation, recommends domestic water disinfection strategies, and teaches seminars.
