New Home, Still Great Show

NFMT East brings education, networking and products and vendors show to Charlotte

The Queen City becomes FM Ville in March 2026. The ACC Tournament rides in the backseat when National Facilities Management & Technology (NFMT) East heads to Charlotte, North Carolina, for the first time in event history. Taking place March 10-12, 2026, at the Charlotte Convention Center, NFMT East is packed with new opportunities and longtime favorites.

The Opening Night Networking Party

We’re kicking things up a notch and taking the opening night networking party to the NASCAR Hall of Fame to cap day one of NFMT East. The Hall of Fame is located within the convention center. Both attendees and exhibitors are welcome. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with NASCAR history and innovation like nowhere else:

  • Jack up the car, change a tire (airgun included) and fill up the fuel tank faster than your NFMT peers at the Pit Crew Challenge.
  • Announce or direct your very own race broadcast.
  • Get behind the wheel and race your peers in one of eight NASCAR stock car replicas in the race simulator.
  • Get a front row seat to some of NASCAR’s greatest finishes in the video studio.

Best of all: your admission to the museum is included in your NFMT All Access registration!

Speaking of tours

You won’t want to miss the behind-the-scenes facilities tours we’ve got in the works. Further details are forthcoming, but you’ll get access to areas usually out of sight to visitors. Stay tuned! NFMT’s Facility Tours are always a popular event that fills up quickly.

Robust Conference Lineup You’ve Come to Know and Love

We’re rolling out six unique conference tracks along with two specific to Clean Buildings. You’ll have a whopping 75 sessions to pick from, all organized into the following:

  • The Digital Evolution
  • People & Performance
  • Mission Critical Environments
  • Tech Market Trends
  • Energy Efficiency
  • Sustainability in the Built Environment

The two Clean Buildings tracks are Safe, Sound & Healthy and Cleaning for Performance. Beyond enriching yourself and learning new tips and insights to take home to your buildings, attending NFMT East conference sessions affords the ability to earn CEUs!

Expo! Expo! Expo!

Get out of your building for a bit and into the NFMT East expo hall! More than 300 exhibiting companies are projected to be at the Charlotte Convention Center when we open for business on March 10. And that’s exactly what happens at NFMT East: business. Facilities pros seek out new products and vendors while catching up with existing partners. The expo hall is categorized into four pavilions to make it simple to find the type of exhibitor you’re looking for. But feel free to traverse the entire show floor. You never know who you’ll stumble upon and what you’ll find.

There’s a lot more going on in the expo as well. FacilitiesNet Associate Editor Mackenna Moralez will be recording her Facilities In Focus podcast live in Show Central among other FacilitiesNet editor-led discussions throughout the three days. There’s a $500 grand prize giveaway each day of the show, and Passport to Prizes provides another way to win money. Show Central, tucked between the Clean Buildings Pavilion and Learning Lab Stage 2 is an area you’ll want to stop by. Editors, NFMT staff and speakers all frequent this area regularly and love to talk with you all.

If you’re in the facilities management industry, NFMT East at the Charlotte Convention Center (March 10-12, 2026) is an event you simply cannot miss.

Want to Share Your Story? This is the Place

We report successful facilities stories every day. From tales of a successful energy retrofit to the rise of the maintenance technician into the VP of operations chair, the facilities management profession is full of good stories. As editors of this magazine and our other brands, we’re proud and honored to share that news with our readers and your peers.

Today, we’re turning the tables. Instead of us promoting the industry, we’re looking to cut out the middleman and allow you to go straight to your peers. We’re asking you to consider showing off your successes as a presenter at NFMT West 2026, November 3-4 in Las Vegas.

Many of you have had the opportunity to attend our NFMT conferences over the years and attend our excellent education sessions and bring back home additional knowledge necessary to do your jobs more efficiently and effectively.

We’ve found that many of our best and most well-received sessions are led by our readers, the boots-on-the-ground leaders who have experienced it all, from leaky roofs to hurricane damage, and recovered to talk about it and thrive, or from succeeding despite being understaffed to unlocking the key to energy savings that saves your institutional and commercial institution millions of dollars.

Interested in learning more? Email dave.lubach@tradepress.com and we’ll get you started on a path to present your story to your peers.
