Flooring

Flooring adhesives need to be given the proper amount of time to set. When planning a remodeling project, keep this in mind. Adhesives vary, but most take between two and five days to fully set before they can handle traffic without the risk of bubbling.

That means that it’s wise to schedule the flooring contractors last in any project. No other trades will have to work around the flooring installation and vice versa. Scheduling at the end of the project also avoids foot traffic and traffic from heavy equipment, allowing the adhesive to properly set before the space is open for business.
