Funding Your Energy Project with New Tax Incentives Related to the Inflation Reduction Act

Watch this session from the NFMT conference that took place in March 2023 in Baltimore

With the signing of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) into law, myriad tax incentives for the energy community have opened up.

This presentation by Jacob Goldman, Vice President of Energy Tax Savers, Inc., is designed to explain the impact of new tax legislation and other tax laws on the energy and building industries.

The presentation covers how to capture new incentives for HVAC systems and other energy efficiency upgrades that significantly reduce the upfront costs of equipment for building owners, and explores newly revived incentives for alternative energy generation systems and energy-efficiency upgrades.

In addition, Goldman covers the new tax-exempt project categories that are now eligible for EPAct tax benefits. He also discusses other legacy tax incentives available for designers, and how energy companies and building owners can capture these. The presentation is designed to give attendees a thorough understanding of how to include all these incentives in the calculations of energy and building project ROIs.
