What are the Maintenance Solutions Achievement Awards?

The spotlight of success rarely shines far enough into institutional and commercial organizations to recognize those who truly make facilities work.

Now, the Maintenance Solutions Achievement Awards are changing that by recognizing accomplishments in maintenance, engineering, and grounds management. The awards are open to those directly responsible for notable achievements that spotlight the central role managers play in the successful and efficient operation of the nation's institutional and commercial facilities.

The Maintenance Solutions Achievement Awards will recognize managers who have accomplished stand-out results in the following categories:

• Renovations & Retrofits (HVAC system, plumbing system, roofing,
  grounds care, etc.)


• Sustainability (water savings, energy efficiency, green purchasing, recycling, etc.)


• Financial Management (budgeting, savings, capital planning, etc.)


• Personnel Management (training, staffing, recruiting, outsourcing, etc.)

And the winner is...
All entries will appear for review on MyFacilitiesNet.com. The judges — Maintenance Solutions editors and other facility management experts — will choose two winners in each category. They will make their choices based, in part, on voting on MyFacilitiesNet.com.
