Garland's StressPly® Max high strength, dual reinforced, SBS and SIS modified bitumen membrane is the strongest of its kind in the industry.  The 145-mil membrane boasts a tensile strength of 1,000 pounds per inch while providing elongation over 16 percent. This premium membrane provides long-term performance as the waterproofing and reinforcement layer of a modified bitumen roofing system. The utilization of SBS and SIS rubber along with the incorporation of KEVLAR® fibers combines with its superior tensile strength to provide outstanding resistance to splits and tears. The unmatched rubber technology results in a superior high-performance membrane with low-temperature flexibility, long-term weathering characteristics and an increased overall life expectancy. 


StressPly® Max Modified Bitumen Membrane





StressPly Max membranes benefit the environment by utilizing post-consumer scrap from tires in the roof compound in addition to utilizing recycled boiler slag as the surfacing. StressPly Max incorporates 21% pre-consumer recycled content and 6% post-consumer recycled content, which has been independently verified by UL Environment. StressPly Max membranes maintain Garland's reputation as a manufacturer of high-performance roofing systems while benefiting the environment.

StressPly Max is also part of the Garland Greenhouse® product line, which represents eco-friendly alternatives to today's roofing technologies. The sustainable product line now encompasses roughly 40 percent of Garland's products.
