Lutron Energy-Saving Lighting Controls from Lutron Electronics Co., Inc.

NEW! Diva and Credenza C·L Dimmers

Those of us who have made the switch to more energy-efficient bulbs like compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs) and screw-in light emitting diode (LED) lamps, but love the ambiance and energy efficiency of a dimmer, can now have the best of both worlds.

Light control manufacturer Lutron Electronics is pleased to introduce two styles of dimmers, Diva®/C·L and Credenza®/C·L,  that work not only with today’s most popular light bulbs, like incandescent and halogen, but also with dimmable CFLs and LEDs, which are expected to become even more widely adopted over the next 10 years.

Both products specifically address issues such as flickering and drop out that are common when dimming these bulbs with standard incandescent dimmers. An adjustment dial on the wall-mounted models allows the user to set the bottom of the dimming range. A video demonstrating the benefits of dimming CFLs and LEDs is available at lutron.com/dimcflled.

GRAFIK Eye QS

Lutron's GRAFIK Eye QS is a system that allows efficient control of both electric light and daylight at the touch of a button. A popular choice in home theaters, the GRAFIK Eye QS is also a perfect solution for conference rooms, lecture halls, restaurants and other public spaces that serve multiple purposes. It is fully customizable and allows up to 16 programmed lighting zones and 3 shade zones that can be re-configured as the needs of a space evolve.

The GRAFIK Eye QS works with many other system components, such as sensors, digital ballasts, LED drivers and motorized window treatments. It can communicate wirelessly with compatible Lutron products, making it an easy choice for retrofits and upgrades to existing buildings. Third-party integration is facilitated through DMX and Ethernet/RS-232 interfaces.
