Valley Forge, Pa. – Architects and designers now have complete freedom to design ceilings in any shape or pattern imaginable with the newly enhanced Ceilencio Ceiling System from Decoustics, the custom acoustic product division of CertainTeed Ceilings.
Ceilencio is a revolutionary acoustical ceiling suspension system that can be custom engineered and manufactured for virtually any geometric pattern, from diamonds to pentagons. The system consists of a proprietary concealed extruded aluminum grid and panels, with individualized “butterfly” clips, custom engineered for each application. A unique torsion spring mechanism enables the panels to be completely downward accessible, which permits individual panels to be "hinged" down for convenient access to the plenum.
“With Ceilencio, any ceiling pattern you can dream up can go up,” said Dawn Chittick, director of marketing for CertainTeed Ceilings. “And with easy downward access to the plenum, Ceilencio ceiling systems are as functional as they are beautiful.”
All Decoustics panels are specially fabricated and offered in a variety of sizes, finishes, geometric shapes, vaults, and thicknesses. Ceilencio easily integrates with many Decoustics offerings, including Claro acoustical panels, Quadrillo natural wood acoustic panels, Metallo metallic-finish acoustics panels, as well as a full range of fabric and vinyl options.
