Thomas A. Westerkamp is founder of Productivity Network Innovations; former vice-president/partner of H.B. Maynard and Co. management consultants; and plant engineer and master mechanic in the paperboard industry. He is also a consultant, lecturer, and author of the Maintenance Manager's Standard Manual and Aware. MPS, Maintenance Productivity Suite, as well as a contributing editor for Maintenance Solutions magazine. In addition, he has written numerous articles for trade journals such as Contract Professional, Industrial Engineer, IMI News, and received Best Feature Article Award from Plant Engineering. Mr. Westerkamp provides training courses and speaks at conferences such as the National Plant Engineering Show, and works with clients in both manufacturing and service industries to install integrated performance management/CMMS in single- and multi-plant maintenance operations.
