CONTAM 2.4b from the National Institutes of Standards and Technology (NIST) predicts airflows and contaminant concentrations in multi-zone building systems. CONTAM allows users to draw floor plans and employ icons to represent airflow paths, ventilation-system components, and contaminant sources. NIST has used the software to study the indoor-air-quality impacts of ventilation in large mechanically ventilated office buildings, and radon entry and transport in large office and school buildings.
