AGAWAM, Mass. -– OMG Roofing Products has a new fastener for use in metal roof retrofit applications. The new RetroDriller Fastener features a unique drill point designed to quickly cut through metal roof decks and into structural purlins up to 3/16-inches. The FM-approved fastener is compatible with OMG’s TPO and PVC RhinoBond Plates and available in 4-, 5-, 6-, 8-, and 10-inch lengths. 

Each fastener has three full inches of thread, a #3 square drive and ultra sharp ½” drill point that makes installation fast and easy. In addition, they are coated with OMG’s exclusive CR-10 corrosion-resistant coating which exceeds the FM Approval Standard 4470 for red-rust after 30 Kesternich cycles. Four, 5- and 6-inch lengths are also compatible with OMG’s RhinoTrac stand-up installation tool that provides a more productive and healthier method for installing plates and screws on metal roofs.
