Legrand Introduces Cablofil Ventilated Cable Tray
MASCOUTAH, Ill. – Legrand has introduced a ventilated cable tray that combines ease of installation with high-strength steel construction. The Cablofil® V-Trough cable management system keeps cables protected and easy to manage in commercial and light industrial applications. Straight sections are ventilated to reduce cable bundle heating, and to keep mold and moisture from building up within the cable pathway. The open tray design allows ready access to cables and additional cabling can be added with ease.
Cablofil V-Trough cable tray is available in 2" depth in widths ranging from 2" to 12" and 4" depth in widths of 4" to 24". All bends and turns necessary for any installation are available as stocked items. Other accessories include cable drops, size
reductions, and cabinet connections. Optional covers are available for complete security. Non-standard bends, turns and changes in elevations can be easily made from straight sections using tin snips. This system includes a full range of hanging and support hardware.
V-Trough tray features all-steel construction, and is manufactured to exacting standards, including European OEM specifications, so that all components fit together perfectly, making installation a snap. All edges are rounded and eased in the fabrication process to keep cable insulation undamaged during installation. Patented fast splice accessories are available with pre-fitted screws to speed installation time. V-Trough cable management installs with relatively few parts using standard construction practices and common tools. Most installers require relatively little training and move on and off the project quickly.
