Transwestern-Managed Building One of 66 Properties Worldwide to Earn Label in 2014 Transwestern’s Washington, D.C. office has announced 2020 K St. earned the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) 360 Performance Program® designation. The building is among 66 properties worldwide that received the distinction in the first quarter of 2014. Located in the Central Business District, 2020 K St. holds a LEED® Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. “We are honored to receive this designation and have 2020 K St. join such an elite group of buildings,” said Natalia Evstigneeva, senior property manager at 2020 K St. “Through efforts by the building occupants and management team, we have been able to bring 2020 K St. to a higher level of efficiency and reduce building operating expenses.” The BOMA 360 Performance Program evaluates commercial properties in six major areas: building operations and management; life safety/security/risk management; training and education; energy; environment/sustainability; and tenant relations/community involvement. Since the program’s inception, more than 700 commercial properties worldwide demonstrating best practices in these areas have earned the prestigious BOMA 360 label. Earning a BOMA 360 designation offers 2020 K St. tangible results to measure improvement, utilizing surveys and data from CoStar, Kingsley Associates and BOMA’s Experience Exchange Report®. These reports reflect tenant retention rates and satisfaction scores, rental rates, and operations and management savings.
