We have 24 Xlerator hand dryers. They are quick and efficient. Some say they are loud, but we have a very quiet building. Helped get our LEED Platinum certification. Company is easy to work with for repairs
Data Processing Technician
We installed these Xlerator last year, figuring on getting rid of paper towels. Although it is true that these units dry hands faster than the old one, they are extremely noisy. Our people would rather use paper towels than the noisy Xlerators. When we passed the word on the floor that we wanted to lose the paper towels, we got a bunch of negative responses from our employees. Most of them complained about the noise. We are keeping the paper towels for now because of the negative feedback we received.
Advice you would give facility managers about how to evaluate Hand Dryers before making a purchase.
