The CCC is a California nonprofit public benefit corporation. Our purpose is:
To improve building and system performance by developing and promoting viable building commissioning practices in California
To facilitate the development of cost effective programs, tools, techniques and service delivery infrastructure to enable the implementation of building commissioning processes
To educate and inform concerning building commissioning processes
To identify opportunities, establish priorities and promote solutions relating to building commissioning processes in California
The CCC has no formal members. Anyone who lives or works in California and supports our goals, ideals and purposes is welcome to attend meetings and contribute their ideas. We do have a Board of Directors that govern the CCC. Board Members represent the organizations that fund the CCC.
The CCC also has an Advisory Council that helps direct the CCC's projects and priorities by offering new ideas, asking questions, providing input, and identifying additional useful resources. The Advisory Council is a group of individuals who have a vested interest in the health and growth of the commissioning industry in California. The Advisory Council is appointed by the Board and has between 15 and 20 members. They include Commissioning Providers, building owners and representatives of utilities and research labs.
