Steril-Aire Ultraviolet lights (UVC) The single-ended UVC Emitters™ install on the exterior of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment, making them useful for germicidal sites that are difficult to access. The units can improve indoor air quality and eliminate mold and microbial contaminants that grow in and circulate through HVAC systems in schools, commercial buildings, and health care facilities. Managers can install the germicidal lamps by making a 1-inch hole in the equipment wall and mounting the fixture to the unit’s exterior. Only the lamp or tube penetrates the system. The power supply remains external.	Cooper Wiring Devices Locking plugs/connectors The Pro-Grip^TM 50A line is made of high-impact-resistant nylon and features a three-step locking design that decreases installation time. Installation includes: attaching the conductors; inserting the plug/connector body and turning it one quarter; inserting the lock into the slot; and tightening the cord-clamp screws. The locking devices provide a secure connection under harsh and abusive conditions, including those on construction sites and on shop and factory floors.
RIDGID Inspection camera SeeSnake micro™ features a 2.4-inch, color liquid crystal display screen with a 160-by-234 pixels resolution. The camera has two adjustable, light-emitting diodes and a 3-foot cable that expands to 30 feet with optional extensions. The camera features a waterproof head and 10 feet of waterproof cable. The tool’s flexible design can go into, under and around tight spaces, so technicians can locate, diagnose, and solve problems. Four double-A batteries operate the camera.	ConservCo Flow-control valve WasteStop™ is a static-rate flow-control valve that reduces water waste in faucets and showers. It reduces flow rates without decreasing water pressure. The valve maintains a constant flow of 1.25 gallons per minute whether water pressure is 40 psi or 120 psi, because it uses a pass-through orifice that reacts to water pressure. Its design includes an internal anti-clog nozzle, so debris in the supply line won’t affect flow. The valve can help a building earn two water-efficiency points in the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design rating system.
Mule Lighting Inc. Photoluminescent signs Ever-Brite II series exit signs are designed to glow for up to 24 hours, and they absorb and store energy from ambient fluorescent light, making them visible in blackouts or smoky conditions. Managers can use the signs in sensitive areas requiring explosion-proof devices. The product carries the ENERGY STAR™ logo, is extract, transform, and load listed to UL 924 standards at 50 feet, and meets NFPA Life Safety Code 101 and Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements. The signs feature a ³/₁₆-inch thick, contoured frame that mounts to walls or doors with no visible fastening devices. Its 8-inch photoluminescent exit letters and universal chevrons fit within a mounting canopy that allows for double-sided ceiling or wall-mounting configurations.	Powers Tempering valves The HydroGuard XP series features two 2-inch valves, both with capacities of more than 200 gallons per minute (gpm). All valves, including the largest sizes, are listed to ASSE 1017 and CSA B125. Features include: flow control as low as 1.0 gpm on the largest sizes; higher top-end flows at lower pressure drops for added capacity; advanced paraffin-actuation technology for speed of response and accuracy of control; single-seat design for tight shutoff in the event of cold-water failure; lockable, vandal-resistant temperature settings for greater safety; simplified design and fewer components for easier repair and maintenance; and corrosion-resistant internals to resist seizing or sticking in harsh water conditions.
Watts Water Technologies Inc. Anti-scale system Each Modulex unit in the 300,000- 1 million Btu per hour condensing boiler line is equipped with a boiler communications module to enhance communications and support integration with building automation systems. Each boiler combines two to seven independent, pre-assembled thermal modules that emit 151,500 Btu per hour. Each module has its own controller with a combustion safeguard, variable-speed fan, modulating gas valve, electronic ignition, modulating burner, flow-temperature sensor, thermostat, and heat exchanger. Units can support low-gas pressure applications and can be vented using PVC materials.	WD-40 Co. Garage-door lubrication Technicians can apply the product regularly to hinges, door tracks, chains, pulleys and latches to prevent rusting, corrosion, sticking, and squeaking. The lubricant dries quickly without leaving a residue and it minimizes dust accumulation. The lubricant is one of nine products in the three-in-one professional line.
Krylon Industrial Alkyd enamel Managers can specify the product as a machinery and equipment finish, a safety and marking enamel, an interior wall and ceiling enamel, and for use on machinery, fixtures, conveyors, safety equipment, doors, steel supports, and railings. The high-gloss finish creates a dirt-resistant surface that can withstand chipping and flaking. The paint is available in 30 colors and can be custom-tinted.	Fieldpiece Instruments Probe tester The HVAC Guide™ probe tester leads technicians through common heating, ventilation and air conditioning tests, including target evaporator exit temperature, superheat, subcooling, and combustion analysis. The technician selects a test on the dial, fills out the input form and reads the diagnosis from the output form. Managers can enter data automatically using accessory heads or manually from any other instrument, such as pressure gauges. The unit stores up to 200 tests that users can download to a PC for customer tracking and data organization. Each set of test data contains a customer identification and a time stamp.
Wahl Instruments Inc. Thermal-imaging camera The HSI3003 offers a narrow-angle, 9.1-by-6.8-degree field-of-view optics, which enables detection and temperature measurement of small objects over long distances. Easy Report software allows users to insert multiple images and data collected during a site survey to produce an inspection report. The imager features a 160-by-120 pixel, uncooled micro-bolometer array, capable of displaying high-resolution images on a 3.5-inch, color, liquid crystal display with a light-emitting diode backlight. The instrument has a temperature range of 32-482 degrees and a trigger-activated, Class II laser that identifies the hot spot shown on the marked center of the display. The camera is fully radiometric and measures the temperature of every pixel.	New Pig Corp. One-way speed bump The speed bump helps direct traffic in parking lots and parking garages. The tapered side allows traffic to pass one way, and its 2 percent upright barrier edge features a “Wrong Way” sign to deter traffic the other way. Its yellow color and reflective warning make it visible to motorists. It is constructed of 100 percent recycled wood and plastic and resists dents, corrosion and cracking. Users can join the product with multiple units for desired size, and it is available with lag bolts or rebar spikes for concrete and asphalt installation.
Carlisle SynTec Roofing membrane Sure-Flex PVC is a single-ply membrane designed for mechanically attached and fully adhered roofing systems. The membrane can withstand harsh weather and long-term exposure to rooftop contaminants. With a light-colored top ply, it also offers enhanced reflectivity. It received ENERGY STAR™ approval after achieving 65 percent reflectivity as a new product and 50 percent reflectivity after three years of outdoor exposure.	Nixalite Rodent trap Rat Zapper kills rodents and ground squirrels without pastes, poisons or traps. When a rodent enters the unit to get the dry bait, the system delivers enough electrical energy to kill it instantly. A flashing red light on top of the trap alerts the user when the rodent is dead. To remove the carcass, users gently shake it out of the trap. The product is lightweight, compact, reusable and available in two models. The classic model runs on four double-A batteries, and the ultra model runs on four D batteries. Advanced electronics allows 40 rodent kills on one set of batteries with the ultra model.
Rubbermaid Commercial Products Waste-management cart The deluxe-paneled, waste and linen cart features ergonomic handles, nylon bags, or optional triple-waste bag holders that allow segregation of waste and recycling. Constructed of plastic and aluminum, the cart is chemical and salt-water resistant. It features faux mahogany finished doors and panels.	LEDtronics Dimmer The dimming range is up to 100 percent of the input, and the input voltage can be any DC voltage of 5-40 volts. The dimmer’s output voltage is adjustable between zero and completely on. The dimmer can drive up to 2,000 white, discrete LEDs or 50 high-flux LEDs. Power dissipation of the dimmer’s drive circuitry is less than 0.7 watts. One unit can dim the supplied power for an entire lighting channel or up to 2 amps. Managers can use the dimmer with LED strip lights, bulbs and floodlights.
Dotworkz Surveillance-camera enclosure The D2-XC is compatible with 99 percent of analog and internet protocol (IP), pan-tilt-zoom cameras. The ring-of-fire system provides constant warm airflow within the enclosure to safeguard the electronics, especially IP network models. Built-in defrosting removes snow and ice from the camera’s lower dome that otherwise would obstruct the view. It accommodates routers, cell networks, hard drives and uninterruptible power supplies. The enclosure also features a thermoplastic, fiber-composite construction that resists shock and will not rust or corrode.	Marks USA Electrified lockset Survivor series locksets feature a clutch and are available for operation as electrically locked or unlocked. When locked, the clutch disengages the outside lever, allowing it to turn freely without opening the latch. Proprietary lever support springs eliminate lever droop. The locksets are UL listed for three-hour fire rating and satisfy all Americans with Disabilities Act guidelines.
Emerson Network Power Uninterruptible power supply The 6-volt ampere Liebert GXT2 features online, double-conversion uninterruptible power supply (UPS) protection for up to 4,200 watts of equipment. The 208-volt unit enables managers to adapt to the requirements of new applications and information-technology equipment, including servers, routers, and switches, that can handle 120 volts or 208 volts with no modifications. The UPS is designed to detect input frequency of 60 hertz or 50 hertz, and it features user-replaceable, internal batteries that provide about seven minutes of runtime at full load. It has integrated distribution with flexible output connections, a wrap-around maintenance bypass, and an automatic and manual internal bypass.	Seal-Krete Bonding primer Lock-Down is a resin-rich, self-cross-linking epoxy designed for concrete surfaces. Nanoparticles penetrate the concrete, binding chalk and providing a clean, sound substrate for paint or decorative topcoats. Using the product before painting likely will increase topcoat adhesion by 50 percent and reduce the potential for cracking, peeling and chipping. The primer is water-based, contains minimal volatile organic compounds, and is low odor. It covers up to 500 square feet per gallon on smooth concrete floors or 250 square feet per gallon on broom-finished concrete.
Lenox Instrument Co. Inc. Flexible borescope Fiberscope features a tight bending radius and a steerable, two- or four-way tip that allows easier movement around corners, through pipe bends, and past blockages. Diameters range from 3.5 millimeters (mm) to 10 mm, with lengths up to 18 feet. The unit’s construction ensures a uniform fiber configuration through the length of the probe to produce the best possible image resolution and almost zero distortion. The objective lens – standard direct view or optional right angle – is placed at the distal tip for improved focusing. All scopes are waterproof, as well as digital- and video-adaptable. It is ideal for inspection of engines, equipment, tubing, pipes, castings, and other hard-to-access cavities.	Osram Opto Semiconductors Inc. Light-emitting diode (LED) Ostar offers the brightness of 1,000 lumens, and the white LED is brighter than a 50-watt halogen lamp, so managers can specify the product for use in a range of general lighting applications. The luminous flux of this light source is the result of optimizing both the chip and package. The unit contains six 1 millimeter, high-power ThinGaN^® chips with a tight packing density. One unit with a 38-degree reflector can illuminate a desk with more than 500 illuminance from a height of 6 feet.
Lynxspring Inc. Operator panel JENE-PCLCD, a liquid crystal display operator’s panel, is designed to be used with the JENEsys™ PC1000/6000 or Tridium’s JACE 2/6. It gives users access to parameters without communicating directly to the building automation system. Users also can monitor status, adjust set points, view and acknowledge alarms, and set schedules. All values are displayed with explanatory text in the alphanumeric display window. The panel provides complete control of equipment without using a PC, and the user defines the terminology.	Honeywell Power Products Weatherproof power supplies All units are contained within lockable, sealed, non-corrosive enclosures, rated NEMA 4X (IP66), and conforming to National Electrical Code standards. They can withstand wet and corrosive conditions within a temperature range of minus 40 degrees to 120 degrees. The manufacturer ships the units with hardware for flat-surface mounting, and three optional pole-mount kits are available for a variety of installations. The supplies feature electronically regulated outputs, a power-disconnect switch, an output LED indicator, and diagnostic LEDs for each circuit.
SLI Lighting Electronic ballasts The T5 and T8 electronic ballasts are universal voltage, ranging between 120-277 volts, and low total harmonic distortion. The T5 ballasts are available in two versions, 28 watts and 54 watts, while the T8 ballasts are available in low-, normal-, and high-power versions. The ballasts carry a five-year warranty.	Gamewell-FCI Fire-alarm control panels The Flex Series offers two-, four-, five-, and 10-zone panels. Another 10-zone panel, expandable to 30 zones, is available to accommodate future renovations and expansions. The panels feature: programmable initiating and notification circuits; an 80-character, liquid crystal display interface; built-in form-C relays; digital alarm communicator transmitters; and history logs that record up to 256 events. They also have enhanced dip switches and key pads that allow for easier field programming.
Veolia Environmental Services Lamp-recycling kit Managers can use Recyclepak^® containers to ship compact fluorescent lamps via the United States Postal Service (USPS). The recycling kit is a pre-paid program that includes the recycling container, protective poly liner and instructions for return shipping and recycling. When ready for recycling, consumers can give the package to any letter carrier or bring it to any USPS location.	Zinsser Interior sealant Bulls Eye‚ oil-base interior primer-sealer and stain killer is an oil-based primer for interior surfaces. It seals the surface and blocks water, nicotine and graffiti stains. Users can apply the product to walls, ceilings, doors, trim, windows, galvanized metal, wrought iron and cabinetry. It sticks to surfaces, including enameled doors or trim, without sanding, and users can apply it under oil or latex topcoats. It seals porous surfaces, such as builder’s flat paint, drywall, unfinished wood, concrete and other unpainted surfaces, providing a smooth, even finish with sufficient topcoat coverage.
GE Consumer & Industrial Transformer TP-1 transformers are 100 percent compliant with the National Electrical Manufacturers Association’s TP-1 energy efficiency standard. Each unit offers improvements over comparable, same-size, non TP-1 units, including a maximum, 10-decibel noise reduction. The transformer features a weld-less coil-termination design that eliminates weld splatter, producing a cleaner product and less chance of shorts. The spray-on core varnish is non-dipped to convey quality construction, and the exterior packaging includes rigid edge protectors and a protective top cover to avoid in-transit or site damage.	GrayWolf Sensing Solutions Air-quality meter The meter displays volatile organic compounds, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, temperature and derived moisture readings, including dew point. Users can add detection of ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, nitrogen oxide, and other parameters, such as particulate, air velocity, and pressure. WolfSense™ software creates a real-time display of up to 15 simultaneous measurements. It is designed for both snapshot data logging during walk-through surveys and long-term log trending. *Bobcat* Utility work machine The D-Series Toolcat 5600 features four-wheel independent suspension that helps with mowing, spraying, pushing snow or traveling over uneven terrain. The wheel-and-frame isolation of independent suspension increases wheel-to-ground contact, which better absorbs shock to help maintain a consistent mowing height, improve traction, and decrease travel time due to a smoother ride. The vehicle also features a full-time, four-wheel drive system and slip differentials, which monitor tractive effort and deliver torque to all four wheels.	*Toro Co.* Utility vehicle The Workman^® offers a 2,725-pound capacity with a long-bed design. Vehicle attachments include: The Vicon spreader, which provides application of fertilizers and herbicides; an aluminum walk-through bucket that is hydraulically leveled and has a working height of 23 feet with a side reach of 11 feet, 6 inches; a 200-gallon sprayer; a high-flow hydraulics kit; and a deluxe hard cab to protect the operator and passenger from the elements.
*Jacobsen* Utility vehicle The Turf-Truckster features a 2,850-pound payload and is available in a 32-horsepower, electronic-fuel injection gas model or a 26.1-horsepower diesel model. It is equipped with a dash-mounted shifter for manual four- or five-speed transmission models and is available with a three-speed automatic. The vehicle has auxiliary hydraulics and an optional high-output system is available. Managers can choose between steel or poly dumping beds.	*Kubota Tractor Corp.* Utility vehicle The RTV1100 features a three-cylinder, 24.8 horsepower diesel engine that boasts 50.3 feet/pounds of torque. The vehicle has a variable-hydrostatic transmission, power steering, a front guard, four-wheel, wet-disc brakes, a hydraulic bed-lift system and more than 1,100 pounds of cargo-load capacity in the 16-cubic-foot bed. The unit meets OSHA 1928.53 and SAE J2194 roll-over-protection standards and features retractable seatbelts, an under-seat storage area, padded headrests, cloth seating, standard speakers, a factory-installed cab, standard air conditioning, and a heater and defroster.
*Columbia ParCar Corp.* Heavy-duty utility vehicle The Payloader series of Burden Carriers is designed to carry loads up to 5,200 pounds and tow up to 14,000 pounds. The vehicle is 100 percent electric and its chassis is made of 14-gauge, diamond-plate steel with 10-gauge support sections. The unit features front and rear steel bumpers, dual head and taillights and adjustable bucket seats. Two models with different cargo-deck size and wheelbases are available.
