Full-time Facilities Manager

Status: Full-time
Schedule: 8 hrs./day; Monday-Friday; 8:00am-4:30pm Year Round
Minimum annual salary: $74,665

Manages and coordinates the administrative and operational staff, systems, and activities that ensure optimal functioning and maintenance of all building properties. Directs the Facilities Maintenance Coordinator to ensure all building systems including mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, plumbing, and waste management are maintained. Ensures facilities maintenance work follows safety standards, conforms to specifications, and work orders are tracked and completed within the budgeted guidelines. Oversees the Facilities Project Manager who is responsible for facility renovation projects. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met.


Education: Bachelor’s Degree required. Preferred area of study in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.

Knowledge: A minimum of 5 years of progressive supervisory experience with knowledge of facilities management, construction management, government purchasing and regulations

Other Requirements: Excellent written communication skills
Proficient with all MS Office applications and databases, Ability to develop bid and quote packages and initiate school purchase orders, Good organizational skills, Ability to communicate and negotiate with vendors and district personnel, Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license required.
