Georgia School District Upgrades HVAC Systems and Lowers Energy Costs

Madison County Schools was experiencing numerous infrastructure challenges and numerous HVAC systems were beyond their useful lifespans. Located in Georgia, Madison County Schools ensures students have a comfortable learning environment is critical. Madison County Schools first turned to ABM in 2001 to provide solutions for critical infrastructure needs in all seven of its schools. Faced with a very limited budget, the district's administration was unsure if all the necessary upgrades could be made.

Through four phases of energy performance projects, ABM has executed comprehensive infrastructure improvements to multiple schools, creating over $12 million in guaranteed energy and operations savings while keeping expenses budget neutral.

“Without ABM’s products and service as well as financial solutions, it would have been impossible for us to accomplish all that we have. We look forward to continuing a long, extended relationship with ABM,” says Dr. Allen McCannon, Superintendent of Madison County Schools.

ABM’s relationship with Madison County Schools now spans over a decade, as administration continues to rely on ABM to create budget-neutral, guaranteed performance solutions through energy saving improvements.
