ASHRAE Offers New Operations Certification

The first tests for ASHRAE’s new certification – Operations & Performance Management Professional (OPMP) will be offered at the AHR Expo on Jan. 28, 2009 in Chicago. The certification is intended for facility professionals who demonstrate knowledge of the management of facility operations and maintenance and the impact they have on HVAC system performance. ASHRAE developed the certification in conjunction with APPA and the U.S. General Services Administration.
