NEMA Premium® Efficiency Standards are increasing December 19, 2010
Time to change your motor.
New minimum efficiency standards for manufactured motors take effect in December 2010. Both general purpose and definite and special purpose electrical motors will have a higher baseline efficiency rating.
What does that mean to you?
Our Colorado Xcel Energy customers may have a limited time to participate in Xcel Energy's Motor and Drive Efficiency New Motor (Plan A) initiative. We will continue with our New Motor (Plan A) rebate offer through the end of 2010 and we are seeking a regulatory program extension into 2011. Due to the uncertainty of this regulatory request, it makes sense for our customers to act now.
Act now to take advantage of Xcel Energy's rebates to reduce your equipment cost.
We have a range of prescriptive tiered rebate offers from $25 to $13,000 for NEMA Premium 1-500 hp motor purchases. We also offer prescriptive tiered rebates for adjustable speed/variable frequency drives on 1-200 hp motors that control pumps and fans. For non-prescriptive eligible equipment, we offer customized solutions and rebates.
Your next steps.
