Want to Reduce Energy Costs?
Start at the Ceiling

Rite Hite FansYou know better than anyone that even small changes can reap huge benefits when it comes to energy consumption. Consider air movement, for example. Traditional methods of moving air in larger buildings simply don’t cut it anymore. Today, facility owners and managers need more efficient alternatives when it comes to keeping their buildings comfortable.

Enter the high-volume low-speed (HVLS) fans from Rite Hite. Rite-Hite Fans will help you decrease energy costs, while increasing comfort and productivity, with its HVLS fans. These fans are ideal for warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, athletic facilities, cafeterias/food courts, atriums, and other open areas in a variety of buildings.

Consider the following two options:

  1. Revolution
Capable of delivering the most air movement of any HVLS fan on the market, the original Revolution Fan is ideal for larger buildings with high ceilings. Costing just pennies an hour to operate, Revolution Fans can lower energy costs by as much as 30%.

    • Moves air up to 85 feet from the fan's center in all directions (up to 22,000 sq. ft.)
    • Available in 8, 12, 16, 20 and 24-foot diameters
    • Available in 2 or 4-blade configurations

Revolution Fans have provided significant benefits in a variety of applications, including the following:

    • Airplane Hangars – Many non-conditioned airplane hangars keep the doors open for ventilation.  A common problem is birds nesting above airplanes and the potential mess this can cause on or around the airplanes or passengers.  Revolution Fans keep airplane technicians and passengers comfortable while also eliminating a bird’s desire to nest above the airplanes.
      Rite Hite Fans
    • Food Distribution – Food distribution/warehouse facilities have the challenge of preventing spoilage, which can occur if food is not kept at the proper temperature.  Revolution Fans eliminate the need to rotate stock to minimize spoilage by keeping temperatures consistent from floor to ceiling.

    • Metal Recycling/Fabrication – During the warmer months, facilities that deal with metals have the challenge of preventing rusting or oxidation caused by humidity or moisture. Revolution Fans help eliminate this moisture to guard against the formation of rust.

    • Beverage Distribution – Many beverage distributors utilize drive-thru applications where trucks are driven into a facility for loading and unloading.  Revolution fans help dissipate diesel fumes and, in cases where trucks come in with snow or rain, the fans help dry the floor.

    • Facilities using Evaporative Cooling (Swamp Coolers) – Found mainly in the southwest, Revolution Fans allow large facilities to reduce the number of evaporative coolers that are needed, which reduces energy consumption as well as the amount of water needed to run the coolers, preserving natural resources.

    • Air-Conditioned Facilities – Using Revolution Fans allows the set-point on a thermostat to be turned up by two to six degrees, depending upon the application. The fans may also allow for extra time before the air-conditioning needs to be turned on.

  2. Revolution SP
This stylish fan incorporates all the same benefits of the original Revolution, but is designed for smaller spaces where aesthetics are important. Choose between standard polished blades or painted blades, which can be customized for your unique environment.

    • Moves air up to 50 feet from the fan's center in all directions (up to 7,800 sq. ft.)
    • Supplements existing HVAC systems
    • Available in 8, 10 and 12-foot diameters
    • Available in 4-blade configuration

Similar to the Revolution, the Revolution SP also helps reduce energy costs while keeping people cool in a variety of smaller applications, including:

    • Automotive Showrooms
    • Retail Stores
    • Restaurants
    • Schools & Universities
    • Airport Terminals
    • Health Clubs
    • Athletic Facilities
    • Hotels
    • Theaters

An additional benefit of both the Revolution and Revolution SP Fans is the elimination of smaller floor or ceiling fans. One of these fans can cost five to seven times more to operate than a single Revolution Fan.  In addition to energy savings, eliminating smaller floor or ceiling fans will help reduce trip hazards as well as potential eye injuries and noise.

The optional Fan Commander allows you to control up to 18 fans from one location. Features include scheduling on/off times, changing speeds, and optional Ethernet ports for network access.
