Lower Your Natural Gas Bills and Earn Rebate Dollars

According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, commercial energy bills break down like this:

Save energy and money with Xcel Energy through rebates and study funding for a variety of heating system improvements:

1. Prescriptive commercial heating rebates are available for qualifying new or replacement boilers (with higher rebates for more efficient condensing boilers), efficiency improvements for existing boiler systems, boiler tune-ups, pipe insulation and steam trap repair/replacement.
   
   DOUBLE TUNE-UP REBATES are available through 11/30/10 (50% of tune-up costs up to $500/boiler) and new 2010 equipment rebate levels are up to 7 times higher.
   
   
2. Heating system optimization studies offer additional rebate dollars for any study focused on the heating system. Customers can choose to analyze the entire heating system or one or more focus areas, such as steam trap audits, heat recovery, pipe insulation, etc. Xcel Energy will fund up to 75% of study costs with a $25,000 per-study maximum.
   
   
3. Custom Efficiency rebates are available for energy-saving heating projects not eligible for our prescriptive rebates. With preapproval, process improvements, process boilers, new boilers larger than 10 MMBTUH, and boilers used for extensive water heating (pools, commercial laundry, scale dishwashing, etc.), and equipment not included in our prescriptive rebate program are eligible for Custom Efficiency rebates.
   
   
4. Furnace rebates offer our business gas customers money back for purchasing a high-efficiency furnace.
