Data Centers are incredibly complex buildings. But one of the easiest ways to cut costs is to manage airflow. Installing blank off plates in empty slots in racks, between racks, or anywhere that air shouldn't be escaping.

While your at it, make sure that the raised floor tiles aren't leaking air around cables or other perforations. And definitely make sure that a careless IT staff member hasn't removed a tile and not replaced it.
