The vacuum fault interrupter (VFI) switchgear features a resettable VFI that allows immediate service restoration, eliminating the added expense and downtime associated with stocking and replacing fuses. The switchgear contains Envirotemp 200 fluid, which eliminates need for SF6 insulating gas, one of the world’s most toxic greenhouse gasses. It also eliminates the cost and complexity of complying with SF6 regulations and protocols.
