MetalWorks Capz for open plenum and exposed structure spaces has panels with less weight and 10 times less deflection than standard aluminum panels of the same size, without the use of panel stiffeners, according to the company. Panels are offered in seven standard sizes up to 4 by 8 feet. When backed with an acoustical fleece, the panels have a Noise Reduction Coefficient of 0.75. With a one-inch acoustical backer, the NRC is 0.95.
