The Grinnell import and domestic fire grooved product line is now standardized on the Figure 577 lightweight rigid coupling. The coupling provides a rigid joint by gripping along the circumference of the pipe grooves, providing an alternative to welding, threading or using flanges. Capable of pressures up to 300 psi, depending on pipe size and wall thickness.
