The STA-TITE® commercial fastening system™ eliminates costly callbacks and maintenance labor for tightening loose toilet seats while cutting installation time by one-third. Through a simple installation process, the finned bushings securely center the mounting bolts in the holes to prevent shifting that contributes to seats loosening over time. After the nuts are finger-tightened and the seat is centered on the bowl, a 5/8-inch wrench can be used to tighten the lower portion of the nuts, at which point they are engineered to shear off.
